PHASE 1Holding Value Proposition

The Holding Value Proposition

Why the parent earns its keep.

Frame the corporate logic of AZCON itself — what the holding adds to its subsidiaries that they could not generate alone.

STEP 1
Frame the question
15 minutes

For AZCON to earn its right to exist, what five things must the holding do that no individual entity could do alone?

Rules of engagement
01

Concrete, not theoretical

Each item must be testable. "Synergies in digital" is not concrete. e.g. "A shared customer-identity layer across AZAL, Baku Metro, and Aztelekom," "Cross-entity talent mobility."

02

No item should be possible alone

If a single BU could achieve it without AZCON, it doesn't justify the holding. Filter ruthlessly.

03

Cross-sector preferred

The most powerful items connect Transport, Communications, and Production. They demonstrate why these belong together.

04

Name first, then debate

Generate 10+ ideas freely. Then ruthlessly cut to the five that meet rules 1–3.

STEP 2
Define each item
10 minutes

For each of your five items, identify:

WHAT
the holding does
(for every BU)
WHY
it can't be done alone
(by a single company)
WHO
ends better-off
(within the holding)

Be ready to present!

STEP 3
Cluster across the room
10 minutes

The room's items, clustered across teams.

Each team presented their five. The items below were captured live and clustered with AI. The room decides what to keep, sharpen, or drop.

STEP 4
Draft the Promise
10 minutes

Drafting the Promise

Collective wording of three to five commitments AZCON must keep to be better than the sum of its parts. This artifact leaves the room with you.

Awaiting publication

The Promise hasn't been drafted yet.

Once the facilitator generates the Promise from the room's clusters, it will appear here — and you'll be able to edit your own copy.
